mobile apps
OneLane is an app-based family service that assists parents with getting children to school and other activities. It answers a real need and solves a persistent problem for parents – how to be in two places at once yet also enable their children to get to and from their activities. With an easy-to-use app, parents are given constant reassuring updates and can have total peace of mind during every mile of their children’s journeys. OneLane's carpooling service helps to solve the issue of congested roads and, as a result, has a positive effect on road safety and car emissions.

The client’s intention was to create a ride-scheduling app for families that would allow parents to request one of the specially-trained drivers to take their kids to school or other activities. The application had to comprise three parts: client’s app, driver’s app and the admin system. The main goal was to keep the user experience of the apps as clear as possible, so that performing the main tasks, like scheduling a ride or building the route, would be quick and simple.

Mom to Michelle (aged 11)
"So happy to be part of the beta testing group for this life-saving app! My husband and I no longer have to leave work earlier for picking her [Michelle] up or have to pay for expensive nannies with minimum number of hours for work. With OneLane I am paying only for the drive time. Also, how cool that I get real-time updates on the ride and can rest assured that she has been picked up, is on her way to ballet class,..."

Dad to Nya (aged 5)
"We have now tried OneLane for a few weeks and I can't tell you enough how much of a stress reliever and time saver it is. Nya is getting to her activities without my having to lift a finger. Oh, and I like that I get an intro to the driver beforehand, can call them up at any time, and that the support team is continuously monitoring the rides."
Hannah, Investment Banker
Mom to John (aged 14)
"After-school was a logistical nightmare before. It is amazing that no one had thought of this - I was spending several hundred ££ a month (I know, a lot!) on nannies and car services. Imagine this: I no longer need to be in two places at one time (work and picking up John). I can finish up work without stressing, get groceries for dinner, and have John home for when the food is ready."

"Take the school runs as one case. In the UK, come 8.30am, an extra million parents get into their cars to drive their kids to school, causing congestions. It typically adds 100-150% to parents’ daily commute times... Enter OneLane, the London-based ride-scheduling app tailored to kids. It is bringing to the UK market what the likes of Shuddle and HopSkipDrive are doing in America... "
UK's leading deal site for families
"It was such a relief to have a trusted reliable driver on hand to look after the girls. No longer was I the chauffeur come hell or high water, who has to drive the journey 6 times as is usually the case... The girls had nothing but great things to say about the experience: '10 out of 10 service.'... OneLane was an invaluable addition to their “night out” experience... The knowledge that they would be safe with OneLane made a small amount of independence possible..."
